ZO designed this system to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation without the use of hydroquinone. It is specifically designed to promote a smooth, even skin tone. Potent retinol, skin brighteners, vitamin C, and antioxidants are released to rapidly brighten and even skin tone quality and improve the appearance of skin’s texture and firmness.

Step 1: Cleanse face thoroughly
Step 2: Apply Toner if used
Step 3: Zo Daily Power Defense
Apply 1-2 pumps of it to the face and neck, massage it into your skin to improve absorption and penetration into the skin.
Step 4: Retinol Skin Brightener 1%
Apply1-2 pumps of it evenly on the face and neck twice a week, for the first week. Then increase use to every other day. Gradually increase to daily use and only as tolerated. (The potency of Retinol 1% can cause redness, dryness and peeling for the first few weeks. These anticipated reactions are a sign of effective stimulation of the skin and will subside with consistent use.)
- Initial dryness, irritation, and peeling are normal and typically develop 2-3 days following the first application.
- Do not use if pregnant or lactating. Wait 7 days after having a peel or microdermabrasion.
- Product may make your skin more sensitive to the sun; wear sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily. Remember to reapply sunscreen several times a day.

Apply 1-2 pumps evenly on the face and neck as directed by your physician.
